Henry Liu is a landscape photographer with a passion for kayak paddling and outdoor adventures.
In 2009, he was interviewed by Chinese magazine “Photography Fellows” and held a special column in issue 4, 2009.
In 2012, one of Henry’s photos was awarded “Excellence” by “National Geographic” Magazine in a global photography competition.
In 2014, Henry won a “Finalist” award in a competition hosted by American “Outdoor Photographer”. Later Henry was interviewed by British “Landscape Photography Magazine” and held a special column of his photos.
In 2015, Henry was awarded “Golden Lens” in Toronto’s International Photography Festival (IPF).
In 2015 and in 2017, Henry was the General Technical Director of Toronto’s International Photography Festival (IPF).
In 2016, Henry was presented with a special award for his contribution in Sino-Canada arts and culture exchanges.
In 2018, Henry was invited to join the judge team for a global photography competition “Hello World!” hosted by Sina, one of the top social media platforms in China.
Henry started teaching landscape photography since 2010. Up until now, he has had hundreds of students from all over the world
